Honors Scholars

Honors Scholars must complete at least 15 honors credits and graduate from STLCC with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.

We recommend earning honors credits through a combination of doing honors contracts in non-honors courses and taking honors sections of courses.

Honors courses for each term can be found by using the online Interactive Class Schedule

1. Choose a term, e.g. Spring 2019, under “Basic Search”,
2. Expand the “Advanced Search” and select “HON” under the “Characteristics” drop down.
3. Click “Display Classes” to see all honors courses offered that term

Honors Scholar designation appears on the diploma and transcript.

Honors Scholars are recognized at the student awards banquet and at graduation. 

Some scholarship opportunities and transfer agreements are closely tied to the Honors Scholar designation.
