What is Navigate?
Navigate is a software designed specifically for STLCC students. Navigate has been designed to help students get ready for college and access campus resources quickly and easily.

When you log in to Navigate, you can also take a quiz to explore careers and majors. Your advisor can use the results to help you identify a good educational path for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, choosing one or more “favorite” majors is simply an indication of interest. If a student would like to officially change his/her program of study, complete a “Program/Major Change Form” in the Admissions and Enrollment Services office.
No, you will still receive emails about outstanding financial aid documents and will need to use Banner Self-Service to check on your progress.
Most program changes are updated every evening. Thus, any significant changes to a student’s record will update overnight and reflect in Navigate by the next business day.

The Navigate Major Explorer is a career tool that provides best-fit suggestions for degrees and certificates based on your responses. The results are a starting-point and not your only or final choices. You’ll have lots of opportunities to talk to your academic advisor about your plans and goals.
Enrollment steps are displayed in order by importance and due date. “To-Do” events are action steps and “Resources” provide information supporting your success. Be sure to also check the “Completed” events by clicking the down arrow in All Items – Path (black box on top left).
Yes, you are able to opt in and out of text messages from Navigate at any time by changing the setting in Profile/ Notifications. Be sure to opt in and keep your phone number up to date if you want your college to send reminders when Path critical tasks are due. We promise not to send too many!
Contact Admissions and Enrollment Services if it has been over 24 hours since the college received your transcript. See the Submit your Transcripts event on your Navigate Path for information.
The Academic Calendar is available on our website.
No, Navigate does not store students’ grades or transcripts. You may access final grades and view and request transcripts through Banner Self-Service.
No, Navigate is not a course management tool and is unable to store course assignments, upcoming exam information, homework due dates, etc. View your courses in Canvas for your syllabus, class assignments and other materials provided by your instructor.
