Black Male Achievers

The Black Male Achievers (BMA) is a student resource program designed to increase enrollment, retention, and graduation rates among underrepresented student populations. The BMA is divided into two parts, the academy and the program.

The Black Male Achievers (BMA) Academy

The Black Male Achievers (BMA) Academy is a summer bridge program designed to increase the retention and engagement of all first time, new to college students. The bridge program is designed to help students successfully transition from high school to college, address scholastic and social challenges, and create engaging activities that will promote academic and career success.

How to Apply to the Academy

  1. Apply to STLCC
  2. Complete the Black Male Achievers Application
  3. Complete the FAFSA Application for the school year you will be attending.

  4. Sign up for Access Services (if needed)

The Black Male Achievers (BMA) Program

The Black Male Achievers (BMA) Program is a free student resource designed to increase retention and graduation of underrepresented students. With CORE 42 at STLCC, college credits that you earn are guaranteed to transfer to any public college or university in Missouri.
