Title IX Training
As part of STLCC’s commitment to creating and maintaining a campus free of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment and sexual violence, an online training is provided for students and employees.
Ongoing prevention and awareness training on Title IX is conducted throughout the year. To schedule a presentation for your class, group or department, contact Director for Community Standards/Title IX Coordinator Shannon Nicholson, MS, LPC, at 314-539-5345 or snicholson29@stlcc.edu.
STLCC Faculty and Staff Title IX Training Instructions
As part of STLCC’s commitment to creating and maintaining a campus free of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment and sexual violence an online training is provided through SafeColleges.
STLCC Employees Training Access
Employees will be notified by email with details on how to access necessary trainings. Successful completion of training modules by employees is required annually. Questions about online Title IX training for employees? Contact STLCC HR Learning and Development at hr-training@stlcc.edu.
STLCC Student Title IX Training Instructions
As part of STLCC’s commitment to creating and maintaining a campus free of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment and sexual violence an online training is provided. Title IX Student Training: Preventing Sexual Misconduct at STLCC is available to all students through Canvas.
STLCC Student Training Access
- Log into Canvas and select the "Help icon" from the menu on the left side of the screen.
- Choose the Student Health and Safety Education - Online Training and Resources from the list provided.
- Select the "Enroll in Course" box.
- Choose module "Sexual & Interpersonal Violence & Response Course".
- Successful completion of the training can be demonstrated by going to the "Grades" tab in the course.
