Your OneCard (student photo ID) is your passport to all things STLCC.
What is the STLCC OneCard?
- Your official student Photo ID
- Your access to important campus resources like library materials, computers labs and the Metro U-Pass
- It can be used as a debit card depending on your selected refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements.
St. Louis Community College delivers your refund and provides you with your official School ID card with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. Visit this link for more information and review your refund options:

How to Get Your STLCC OneCard
New Students Only
The following steps are for students 17 years and older. If you are 16 years old, visit a campus life office to obtain a student ID.
- Register for classes
- Update your mailing address in Archer Connect (formerly Banner Self-Service).
- Check your my.stlcc email account for an email or visit idphoto.stlcc.edu.
After you’ve registered for classes, you will receive an email via your my.stlcc.edu account with instructions and a secure link to sign in and submit a photo for your STLCC OneCard. (You will also submit a photo of a government-issued ID to verify your identity.) -
Watch your postal mailbox for a bright green envelope from BMTX, Inc. containing your STLCC OneCard and Refund Selection Kit.
The card and activation instructions will arrive by postal mail in approximately 10 days, delivered to the address you specified in Banner Self-Service. - Activate your card ID card online and select your refund preference.
Follow the instructions to activate your STLCC OneCard using the log-in information that is provided with your card. You will also indicate your refund preference. Choosing a preference ensures that any refunds that are due to you from grants, loans, external scholarships or reimbursements are not delayed. Retain any PIN numbers or other important sign-on information for your records.
Returning Students
The following steps are for returning students of less than 5 years ago.
- Register for classes
- Update your mailing address in Banner Self-Service.
- Visit a campus life office and indicate that you are a returning student.
- Watch your postal mailbox for a bright green envelope from BMTX, Inc. containing your STLCC OneCard and Refund Selection Kit.The card and activation instructions will arrive by postal mail in approximately 10 days, delivered to the address you specified in Banner Self-Service.
- Activate your card ID card online and select your refund preference.

If it has been a few days since you’ve registered for classes, and you have not received instructions and a link to submit your photo, contact us at PhotoID@stlcc.edu. If you are unable to submit a photo online, visit your campus life office to sit for a photo in-person.
