Every employee at STLCC receives an Office 365 account. This account offers access to email account, calendar, one drive, Skype, and access to Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Office 365 Web Apps is the same product for both students and employees. We provide additional information about the Office 365 Desktop Suite on a seperate page for both employee and students.
St. Louis Community College offers e-mail accounts for all faculty and staff through Office 365.
Every individual is issued a STLCC ID, which is a combination of their first initial, their last name and potentially some numbers. The email account is the MySTLCC ID followed by @stlcc.edu. The password is the same password as all other STLCC systems.
Faculty and Staff can access their email by going to Office365mail.stlcc.edu.
The Faculty and Staff e-mail account is the official means of communication with St. Louis Community College.

Yes. Office 365 has a very good implementation of mobile access for calendar and email. To set up the mail client, there will be additional configuration to allow for increased security in access to calendars and email. Please see Multifactor Authentication for the additional security set up.
Exchange is the older email environment and Office 365 is the new environment. When setting up your mobile device, please select Office 365 as the account type.
On the top right of the window, click on your name/picture then click on "sign-out".
The Outlook client will be made available to College-managed machines. For information about accessing your email and calendar on your other devices such as mobile devices, refer to Mobile Device Setup
After migration, your mailbox will contain your email messages, calendar and contacts from your previous Exchange mailbox. You will need to personalize this mailbox in much the same manner as you did when first getting your STLCC mailbox at STLCC. You can expect that your folders have now been created and are visible on the left-hand side. You will need to re-set up items such as email signature, auto-replies, delegate access, folders, Inbox filters, Inbox rules.
Office 365 is a rich, robust and secure platform for computing. The offerings for collaborations are SharePoint-based and vary from chat/conferencing/video Skype for Business (previously called Lync) to full workflow and other options. These products will be made available during phase III of the project.
As the first applications in the Office environment, many other foundations needed to be designed and implemented such as user access and authentication as well as the approach to meet the security and compliance requirements.
Right-click on any email message and select the “create rule” menu item. Create a name for the rule by typing it into the “name” field. Select the criteria for the rule by selecting one or more conditions (to delete a condition, click the X next to that condition; to change a condition criteria, click the blue text next to the condition). Add an action by clicking an option from “Do all of the following” field (to delete a condition, click the X next to that condition; to change a condition criteria, click the blue text next to the condition). Add an exception by clicking on the “add exception” button. Click “ok” to save rule.
