Missouri Reverse Transfer

Did you earn 15 or more hours of college credit at STLCC? Did you transfer to a Missouri university? Did you transfer without graduating? If you answered "yes" to all of these questions, you may qualify for a Missouri Reverse Transfer (MRT) degree!

What is MRT?
Missouri developed a statewide policy to help more Missourians earn degrees. A "reverse transfer" allows students to transfer coursework from their 4-year institution back to STLCC to complete the requirements for an associate degree or certificate. For more information, please visit the MDHE website.

How would I benefit?
You will earn a credential while pursuing your bachelor's degree. You may advance in your career with an earned credential as well as become more marketable. Degree attainment means more earned income and more employment opportunities.

Am I eligible?
If you have earned at least 15 credit hours at STLCC and have not earned an associate degree or higher, you are eligible for MRT. Students who have earned an associate degree or higher are not eligible for this opportunity.

How do I share my transcript?
The 4-year, Missouri institution you attend will facilitate the reverse transfer process by assisting you in sending your transcript to STLCC.

I have other questions. Who may I contact?
Contact our Reverse Transfer Coordinator, Jonathan Howard via email at jhoward217@stlcc.edu.
