Are you on track to finish high school early? Spend your final high school semester at St. Louis Community College and get a head start on college!
Make It Count students spend second semester of their senior years of high school taking college classes full time. This fully-immersive college experience allows students to get a real college experience, graduating with both a high school diploma and full semester of college credit.
During your Make it Count semester, you’ll earn 12-18 credit hours – a full semester of college credit. This means you’ll start college ahead of the game and save thousands of dollars on college costs!
With your school's permission, you'll still be able to participate in your high school extracurriculars, sports, and events. Enjoy the best of what your high school and STLCC have to offer!
At STLCC our courses are designed to transfer. So when you move on to another college, you can trust the work you’ve put in will count. Learn more about Missouri's CORE 42 and view the courses that are guaranteed to transfer.
Second-semester high school seniors who have:
*Students with 1-2 outstanding requirements may still participate with high school approval
Classes taken through Make It Count are dual enrollment classes and are charged at the dual enrollment rate. The current in-district rate is $72.50/credit hour. However, some school districts cover partial or full cost of attendance. Check with your high school counselor to learn more about your school’s program.
